A legendary world to the Jaffa, lost in the mountain mist. Here lives an enigmatic monk, and above all Oma Desala, an Ascended Ancient who keeps a secret watch. It's on Kheb that Daniel first glimpses what it really means to "ascend."
Overview
Kheb holds a special place in Jaffa belief: a place where, they say, one can escape the Goa'uld and find peace. SG-1 discovers an isolated temple there, and a monk who speaks in riddles and teaches the art of letting go. Behind his lessons hides Oma Desala, "the Mother of All," an Ancient who protects souls ready to ascend.
Its story
This is where Shifu is hidden: the Harcesis child of Apophis and Sha're, who carries all the knowledge of the Goa'uld, which makes him a priceless target. Oma Desala takes him with her into ascension to keep him out of the false gods' reach. For Daniel, Kheb is a revelation: proof that there is a path beyond the flesh.
