The pocket sarcophagus. This handheld device closes wounds and drives out disease, no big golden coffin required. More discreet, easier to handle, but reserved for those with the right blood.
Overview
No need to lay the wounded in a sarcophagus. With this small handheld device, a trained user can mend a wound, ease pain, cure a disease, right there in the field. It's one of the most useful tools the Tau'ri and the Tok'ra recover from the Goa'uld, a real gift for anyone who knows how to use it.
History
But be careful. Used without mastery, this healing tool can do the opposite: injure, or even kill. Like the Goa'uld hand device, it requires naquadah in the blood to work, and a good deal of concentration. In expert hands, it saves lives. In the wrong hands, it becomes dangerous. That paradox sums up Goa'uld technology pretty well.
