Zat'nik'tel
The three-shot weapon
- Origin
- Goa'uld
- Nickname
- Zat
- Effect
- Stun / kill / disintegrate

The Goa'uld's famous snake-shaped weapon. One shot stuns you. Two shots kill you. Three shots make you disappear completely, without a trace. Compact and formidable, it quickly became one of SG-1's favorite weapons.
Overview
The whole legend of the zat comes down to its rule. The first shot stuns the target, perfect for capturing without killing. A second shot, on the same person, is lethal. And the third literally makes the body disappear, the ideal weapon for leaving no evidence. Three uses in a single snake-shaped pistol.
Its story
The zat is a Goa'uld weapon, but SG-1 liked it so much that it adopted it in the field. Easier to handle than a rifle, able to stun an enemy without killing them, it became a weapon of choice for the teams. Proof that the Tau'ri never hesitate to turn their enemies' weapons against them.
