The Ark of Truth is an Ancient device that engraves an absolute, irrefutable conviction into the minds of those who behold it. Originally designed to persuade, it becomes the ultimate weapon against the Ori.

Because the power of the Ori rests on a lie: that of their supposed divinity.

History

By revealing to the Ori's followers the truth about their false gods, the Ark brings the entire edifice of their faith crashing down at once. The crusade ends, not through slaughter, but through revelation.
