At the heart of a buried pyramid sits a gigantic crystal skull. Anyone who looks at it too closely disappears, phase-shifted out of reality. This is where Daniel becomes invisible to everyone, and where an old family story resurfaces.
Overview
On P7X-377, a pyramid houses an enormous crystal skull, an echo of an artifact Daniel's grandfather, Nick Ballard, once came across. Gazing at it too closely, Daniel is phase-shifted: he can see everyone, but no one can see him anymore. A harrowing in-between state, on the very edge of reality.
Its story
This phase shift isn't a curse but a doorway: it makes contact possible with a race of giant, luminous beings who live out of phase with our plane of existence. Somewhere between science and mysticism, P7X-377 reconciles Daniel with a grandfather everyone thought was mad, and blurs, once again, the line between technology and wonder.
