Delmak

Sokar's throne

Galaxy: Milky Way
Master: Sokar (Goa'uld)
Moon: Netu
First appearance: Stargate SG-1

The fortress world of the Goa'uld Sokar, one of the cruelest of them all. Around it orbits Netu, his moon turned into hell. Delmak is the seat of a god who quite literally plays the devil.

Overview

Sokar passed himself off as the devil of ancient religions, and he plays the part to the hilt. From Delmak, he rules through terror, even more ruthless than the other System Lords.

History

Below Delmak orbits Netu, a volcanic moon where Sokar throws his enemies to torture them endlessly. When SG-1 has to go down there, it's a true descent into hell. Delmak and its moon make up one of the darkest settings in the saga.
