An undercover Genii spy, ready to betray anyone to hand a prize target over to the Wraith. Nabel is Genii duplicity taken to its extreme.
Overview
Nabel Golan is an agent of the Genii, the militaristic and devious people of Pegasus. A master of infiltration and betrayal, he poses as an ally the better to serve the murky interests of his own people.
His story
Nabel embodies the worst of the Genii: the unscrupulous traitor, ready to sell out innocents, even Teyla, for his own gain or his people's.
His treachery puts him in Atlantis's path, where he sows danger through cunning rather than force. Nabel is a reminder that with the Genii, the enemy often comes in disguise, and a smile can hide a knife.
The actor
Nabel is played by Johann Helf, a Canadian actor. He gives the Genii spy a chilling falseness, perfect for a traitor.
