An unscrupulous criminal who takes over Teyla's body using mind-swapping technology. Neeva is the enemy who steals your very skin.
Overview
Neeva Casol is a dangerous criminal from Pegasus. Using an Ancient consciousness-swapping device, she manages to project her mind into Teyla's body, sowing chaos inside Atlantis itself.
Her story
The idea is chilling: a condemned prisoner escapes by stealing someone else's body, leaving her victim trapped in her place. Neeva, in Teyla's skin, endangers the city from within.
Her scheme illustrates one of science fiction's favorite devices, identity theft taken to the extreme. Neeva embodies the insidious threat of an enemy who wears your face, blurring the line between ally and adversary.
The actress
Neeva is played by Dawn Olivieri, an American actress with a fine career, seen in series such as House of Lies, 1883 and The Last of Us. She clearly has fun playing devious criminals.
