Ladon Radim's sister, a Genii scientist far removed from military intrigue. Dahlia is the gentler face of a people known mostly for their plots.
Overview
Dahlia Radim is a Genii scientist, sister of Ladon Radim, the leader of their people. Unlike the ambitious military men who dominate the Genii, she represents a more measured and human side of this secretive society.
Her story
Caught up in her brother's political maneuvering, Dahlia finds herself involved in the often tense negotiations between the Genii and Atlantis. Her scientist's perspective stands in contrast to the usual brutality of her people.
She is a reminder that the Genii aren't just a bloc of potential enemies, but a people with a range of sensibilities. Dahlia embodies the part of the Genii with whom a real understanding might, perhaps, be built.
The actress
Dahlia is played by Sonja Bennett, a Canadian actress and screenwriter. She gives the Genii scientist a welcome nuance and restraint alongside the hard-liners of her people.
