One of the doctors on Atlantis, often in charge of autopsies and lab work. Biro is the behind-the-scenes medical science that speaks up when a death or a creature needs explaining.
Overview
Dr. Biro is one of the medical scientists of the Atlantis expedition. A specialist in autopsies and analysis, she steps in when the city needs to unlock the secrets of a body, human, Wraith or otherwise.
Her story
Biro works out of the spotlight in the infirmary, but her role is crucial: it is often her examination that provides the key to a deadly mystery or a biological threat.
Funny and blunt, she brings a touch of humanity to the show's clinical scenes. Biro embodies the medical and scientific team of Atlantis, those unassuming specialists without whom many dangers would remain a mystery.
The actress
Biro is played by Lindsay Collins, a Canadian actress and one of the recurring faces of the Atlantis infirmary in the early seasons.
