The dream come true, and the challenge that follows. After millennia of slavery, the Jaffa have overthrown their false gods. Now comes the hardest part: learning to live free, and inventing a nation from scratch.
Overview
The Free Jaffa Nation is born of blood and courage. Generation after generation, rebels like Teal'c and Bra'tac grew the revolt until it toppled the Goa'uld empire. For the first time, the Jaffa serve no one. They are masters of their own destiny. It's the culmination of one of the finest struggles in the saga.
History
But being free isn't that simple. After centuries of obedience to gods, the Jaffa have to invent everything: a government, laws, a way of living together. And freedom attracts the ambitious. Torn between the ideal of democracy and the lure of power, the young nation wavers. Its fragility is a reminder of a hard truth: winning your freedom is one thing, making it last is another.
