Overview
The scientists of Atlantis develop a retrovirus capable of suppressing an individual's Wraith nature, to the point of making them biologically human. A wild idea: what if you could literally cure the Wraith of what they are?
On paper, both a weapon and a hope.
History
The experiment comes at a price. That's how Michael is born, a Wraith transformed by force, neither quite human nor quite Wraith, who will never forgive what was done to him.
The retrovirus embodies a heart-wrenching moral question: can you change a being against its will, even for good reasons? In trying to get rid of one enemy, the expedition created one of its worst.
