Long before Teal'c sparked the rebellion, a group of Jaffa had already turned their backs on their false gods. These are the Sodan: warriors who have been hiding for centuries, living free, in the shadows, loyal to one code only: their own.
Overview
Among the Jaffa, the Sodan are a legend: warriors who supposedly renounced their god and vanished a very long time ago. SG-1 discovers that they really do exist, holed up on a remote world, living by very strict rules of honor.
History
The Sodan prove that Teal'c's revolt wasn't the first spark, just the most dazzling one. Their existence enriches the whole history of this people: that of slaves who, in small groups or by the millions, eventually raised their heads.
