Machello
The inventor who fought the Goa'uld
- Series
- SG-1
- Role
- Inventor, resistance fighter

A human genius who devoted his life to building weapons against the Goa'uld. Machello paid dearly for his fight, even stealing Daniel Jackson's body to go on living.
Overview
Machello is one of the greatest enemies the Goa'uld have ever known among humans. A brilliant inventor, he spent his life designing traps and weapons to strike at the false gods, to the point of becoming a legend on many worlds.
His story
His struggle cost him everything: his family and friends, condemned by the Goa'uld in reprisal. Old and dying, Machello builds a machine capable of swapping minds. He uses it to steal young Daniel Jackson's body, leaving him his own, dying one.
SG-1 foils the trap, but that's not the end of it. Machello's inventions keep wreaking havoc at the SGC, notably parasites that attack symbiotes and nearly kill Teal'c. As much a genius as a danger, Machello remains a troublesome ally, ready to sacrifice anyone for his cause.
