Be All My Sins Remember'd is episode 11 of season 4 of Stargate Atlantis, first aired in 2007.
The solution to the Replicator scourge is finally on the table: force their blocks to clump together into a critical mass, then collapse the whole thing. That requires an unthinkable coalition, Earthlings, Todd's Wraith and Travelers, assembled above Asuras for the biggest battle in the series. On the ground, a creation of McKay's, the Replicator FRAN, walks toward her destiny with a smile.
Why it matters to the mythology
Asuras falls: the Replicators' planet implodes along with its civilization, the coalition holds, and FRAN joins the pantheon of elegant sacrifices.
The review
Atlantis's biggest spectacle: the space battle above Asuras lines up more ships than the rest of the series combined, and the solution, a ball of blocks swallowing its own people before plunging into the crust, is as beautiful as it is terrifying. FRAN, created to die and perfectly serene about it, steals the episode's heart in three scenes. The impossible coalition holds the screen from start to finish. The franchise's blockbuster, with a brain thrown in.
