An officer of the Genii, the seemingly agrarian nation hiding a formidable military power. Tyrus paid dearly for his loyalty to merciless leaders.
Overview
Tyrus is a Genii officer, part of the people who play harmless farmers the better to conceal a vast underground military complex. A hard man, shaped by a paranoid society, he is also the father of Sora.
His story
Sent to work with the people of Atlantis on a joint mission against the Wraith, Tyrus trusts no one and nothing. The encounter goes wrong, and he loses his life, a victim of the Wraith as much as of the brutality of his own side.
His death will fuel his daughter Sora's hatred of Atlantis. Tyrus sums up the Genii well: a people trapped in fear and survival, where trust is a luxury no one can afford.
