A young woman from a world where life races by. Kynthia gave Jack O'Neill a whirlwind wedding and accelerated aging that very nearly cost him his life.
Overview
Kynthia lives on Argos, a peaceful world where the inhabitants live out happy days without suspecting a thing. She seduces Jack O'Neill during a mission and draws him, almost playfully, into a union celebrated a little too quickly.
Her story
The next day, Jack discovers the horrible truth: the people of Argos were modified by a Goa'uld to live an entire lifetime in a matter of days. By sharing the wedding cake, he has inherited the same curse and is aging before everyone's eyes.
While SG-1 searches for a cure, Kynthia watches over a Jack who has become an old man. Behind the episode's light tone lies a lovely reflection on the passage of time, and on what we would do with a life we knew was counted in hours.
