Overview
It all starts with a show of force. Jaffa warriors come through the gate, attack the base, and leave with a hostage. In a matter of minutes, they shatter a comforting certainty: no, the Stargate is not some harmless old toy. Something on the other side knows Earth exists, and has just struck.
History
Message received, loud and clear. Earth understands it can no longer afford to ignore what lies on the other side. The program is reopened for good, permanent exploration teams are put together, and preparations for war begin. SG-1 is formed to answer Apophis. This raid is the moment the saga as we know it truly begins.
